Tropic ThunderThe mighty Batman has finally fallen. After four weeks at the top of the box office it took a trio of stars in “Tropic Thunder” to end TDK’s rule. Bringing in just $26 million “Tropic” took over the top spot while Batman still beat out Lucas’ flop “The Clone Wars.”

Overall it was a pretty weak box office weekend with just half of the top ten movies breaking the $10 million mark. Could this be the end of the summer blockbusters? Looks like it so far.
