hes_just_not_that_into_you_posterIt’s nearly Valentine’s Day and the box office is showing it. The rom-com “He’s Just Not That Into You” took top honors at the box office this weekend with a healthy debut of $27.4 million in movie earnings. Liam Neeson’s revenge-action flick “Taken” dropped to the second spot with $20.3 million. “Taken” was a solid action movie that any fan of the genre would easily enjoy. I certainly did.

The other new releases, “Coraline”, “Pink Panther 2″, and “Push” rounded out the top 6 with “Paul Blart” sliding in-between them at #5. Hopefully the “Panther” box office of just $12.0 million will be enough reinforcement to prevent a third installment. Come on, Steve Martin!
