WOLVERINE ORIGINS Moves Up Premiere Date

Looking to separate itself from the following week’s release of “Star Trek”, “Wolverine Origins” has shifted its premiere date of May 1, 2009 to April 29, 2009, a Wednesday. This is pretty typical and almost always a good idea. From the footage we’ve seen and Hugh Jackman’s promise that it “won’t suck” I wouldn’t expect bad word of mouth between Wednesday and Thursday to impact its weekend box office potential.
