Young And The Restless 2016 bringing on new old lady on peace quest,new spoiler. According to a new report from the soapcentral folks, the Young and The Restless crew has went out and hired former Star Trek babe turned old lady, Nichelle Nichols (left), to come on and play a character named Lucinda in their 11,000th episode.

Lucinda is described as someone that shares an “emotional connection” with another character on the canvas.

She’s in her late 60s/early 70s, and is looking to make peace with her past. It’s believed that she could possibly be Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) mom, but that hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Nichelle recently commented on her new Young And The Restless role, telling the Mashable folks: “I’m thrilled and honored to be a member of the cast of this historic moment in daytime television. I’ve been a huge fan of The Young and the Restless for decades. I’m equally honored to be from Chicago like the Bell Family who created this incredible TV show.”

Nichelle is currently scheduled to be on the show for 2 days, starting on September 1st, 2016, so be on the lookout for her if you care. Nichelle’s acting resume includes the famous role of Lieutenant Uhura in the old 1960s Star Trek show. Stay tuned.
