Zachary Quinto and Kevin Spacey in ‘Margin Call’

Well, here is a dream team I have never dreamed of! Despite Kevin Spacey and Zachary Quinto being two of my favorite actors, I had never pictured them working together for some reason. But now that the seed has been planted in my mind? I can’t really come up with a scenario I would be more eager for! Unless, maybe Kristen Bell and Seth Rogen wanted to do a Judd Apatow romantic comedy together. But I digress…

The movie starring Quinto and Spacey is called Margin Call

and is being dubbed a “corporate thriller.” The story, by writer/director J.C. Chandor, focuses on a group of eight people at an investment bank and takes place over a 24 hour period during the early stages of the financial crisis. Each person has their own agenda and goal to achieve before the crisis takes over.

I’m excited to see this movie, I hope it gets distribution, which it is shopping around for at Cannes. Then again, these two names together make it an easy sell for me. I also really want to see Quinto land the lead role in the George Gershwin biopic that has had rumors floating around it lately. Fingers crossed!
