Criminal Minds to possibly get sued by Thomas Gibson Aka Aaron. According to a new report from TV Line, former Criminal Minds actor, Thomas Gibson aka Aaron Hotchner (left), might end up carrying out a lawsuit against Criminal Minds for recently deciding to fire him after he kicked one of the writers, Virgil Williams, in the freaking leg!

He’s hired a Los Angeles-based litigators, Skip Miller and Sasha Frid, to see if can get this lawsuit to go through. He filed a complaint with human resources, forcing Gibson, who was directing the episode in question, to be replaced by an alternate director before he was initially suspended and subsequently let go.

Criminal Minds originally put Thomas on suspension, but then came back a day or 2 later after reviewing the situation to say he’s been fired with the following statement: “Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds. Creative details for how the character’s exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date.”

As previously reported, the show was in the process of filming their 4th episode for their upcoming season 12. For now, they will most likely write that Aaron has been sent away on a special assignment. Whatever goes down after that, remains to be seen.

Season 12 is set to premiere on Wednesday night, September 28th, 2016 at 8pm central time on CBS. Stay tuned.
