New Hateful Eight Movie Got Mostly Positive Reviews From Top Critics
New Hateful Eight movie got mostly positive reviews from top critics. The Weinstein Company released their new drama/thriller/comedy flick, “The Hateful Eight,” last weekend, and all the reviews are in from the top movie critics. It turns out that most of them did, in fact, like it with an overall 69 score out of a possible 100 score across 45 reviews at Metacritic.com.
The movie stars: Bruce Dern, Channing Tatum, Demián Bichir, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Walton Goggins. We’ve added comments from a few of the critics,below.
Richard Roeper over at the Chicago Sun-Times, gave it a great 100 score, stating: “While it’s not as audacious or as provocative or as brutally violent as “Django Unchained,” it’s still an exhilarating moviegoing experience, filled with wickedly dark humor, nomination-worthy performances and a jigsaw puzzle plot that keeps us guessing until the bloody, brilliant end.”
Peter Debruge over at Variety, gave it a 90 score, saying: “The movie absolutely delivers on the sheer moment-to-moment pleasures fans have come to expect, from dynamite dialogue to powder-keg confrontations.”
