paul walker image

Fast And Furious 7 Paul Walker said Fast And Furious 8 is definitely happening, new details. According to a recent report from denofgeeks.com, Fast And Furious, Brian O’Conner star, Paul Walker (left) recently talked with the guys over at Collider, and revealed some awesome news for the franchise. It turns out that Universal Pictures has definitely green lit an 8th installment of the series well before the 7th one is scheduled to hit theaters!

If that weren’t enough, the studio is even considering a 9th and 10th installment as well! Here’s what Paul had to say: ” Well, the studio supposedly wants 8, 9 and 10. I’ll be 50 by the time they’re finished. Even if 7 were to tank, there’s at least an 8. That’s a guarantee.”

Additionally, Brian revealed a funny story because it turns out that the franchise actually hit a stumbling block back when they were considering the 4th movie. it was actually going to go straight to video, but Vin Diesel stepped in to stop all that nonsense, leading to new life for the franchise.

Paul explained, “The thing that’s pretty crazy is that neither Vin nor I were going back to do the third one. They were going to do a direct-to-video 4. They were going to dispose of it and be done with it. But then, Vin was like, ‘No, I’ll come in for a cameo’ because it wasn’t testing well.

He wanted to set up the fourth one and the studio went for it, and we got a second life. It was supposed to be done already.” So, wow! Thank God for Vin,huh? Stay tuned. Part 7 is set to arrive in theaters on July 25th, 2014.

As expected, It turns out that this is the “must see” movie as it’s getting mostly positive reviews across the board at Metacritic.com with an overall 75 score out of 100 from 44 critics. We’ve posted snippets from a couple of them, below.

The movie stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Lynn Cohen, Patrick St. Esprit, Meta Golding, Bruno Gunn, Alan Ritchson, E. Ty Burr from the Boston Globe, gave it a great 88 out of 100 score, stating , ” Very few people will take in this spectacle of a society amusing itself to death, of “reality games” and the vapid media hysteria that surrounds them, and not draw a parallel to our own televised bread and circuses. At its best, “Catching Fire” is a blockbuster that bites the culture that made it.”

Peter Travers over at Rolling Stone, gave it another 88 score, claiming, ” Pop-culture escapism can be thrilling when dished out by experts. Katniss is a character worth a handful of sequels. And Lawrence lights up the screen. You’ll follow her anywhere.”

Richard Roeper from the Chicago Sun-Times, dropped another great 88 score for it,simply stating, “Catching Fire makes only the occasional misstep.” Kenneth Turan from the Los Angeles Times, gave it a good 80 score. He said, “An effective piece of melodramatic popular entertainment that savvily builds on the foundation established by the first Hunger Games movie.”

New Thor 3 Movie Most Likely Happening Along With A Loki Spin Off Too,New Details

New Thor 3 movie most likely happening along with a Loki spin off too,new details. According to a new report from classicalite.com, Comicbookmovie, chatted it up with Marvel President ,Kevin Feige, and he answered the questions about a new Thor 3 movie, and even talked about a possible Loki spin-off.

He explained, “Thor’s next adventure will be Age of Ultron. So, that’s where all the Thor effort is going. But there are things you will see at the end of The Dark World that certainly hint towards and could lead towards a third Thor adventure if that’s what audiences want to see. We definitely have a story we’d like to tell.”

From there, he talked about the possible Loki spin-off, stating, “Yeah, I don’t think it would be before Thor 3, if there is a Thor 3, and while we certainly have ideas of where we would like that to go, there are no specifics. We have to see how this one does and then go from there.”

So, here’s what the deal is. The studio hasn’t made an official Thor 3 confirmation announcement, because they want to see what they always want to see, and that is, to see how well the darn thing does at the box office. If it rakes in a lot of money for the studio, then they will green light a 3rd movie. It’s as simple as that, because they’ve got a plotline already set and everything.

With that said, given the fact that Thor has already brought in over $100 million dollars, worldwide, I would place a strong bet on a 3rd one being made. The movie brought in $30 million dollars in the U.S. alone for Friday’s numbers, and it’s expected to bring in $300 million, worldwide, by Sunday. With those numbers, I can feel confident in telling you guys that you can pretty much expect a Thor 3 movie. Just sit tight and stay tuned.

New Thor 2,The Dark World Movie Got Mixed Reviews From Top Critics

New Thor 2, The Dark World Movie got mixed reviews from top critics. Marvel Studios and Disney Pictures released their new super hero/action flick , “Thor 2: The Dark World” into theaters this weekend, and the reviews are in from the top critics over at the metacritic.com site.

It turns out about half of them liked it and half of them didn’t, with an overall score of 54 out of 100 across 38 reviews. We’ll share some of the review snippets with here. The movie stars: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Idris Elba, Zachary Levi, Stellan Skarsgard, Christopher Eccleston, Kat Dennings, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

Jamie S. Rich from the Portland Oregonian, gave it an 83 score out of a 100,stating, “The big battle in Thor: The Dark World is one of Marvel’s more genuinely rousing sequences. Once this movie gets warmed up, it’s warm through and through.” Neil Smith over at Total Film, gave it an 80 score, stating, “Marvel’s man with the mallet does all that’s required of him in a breakneck sequel that’s never dark for long. Next time, though, we’ll have more Loki and fewer elves.”

Justin Chang at Variety gave it a 70 score. He said, “This robust, impersonal visual-effects showpiece proves buoyant and unpretentious enough to offset its stew of otherwise derivative fantasy/action elements.” Owen Gleiberman at Entertainment Weekly, gave it a 67 score. He stated, “Hiddleston, with pleading eyes and a mad-dog grin, plays Loki as a wounded sociopath who’s cackling at the world but seething on the inside. Which makes you realize he’s just about the only character in the movie who has an inside.”

Peter Travers at Rolling Stone, gave it a 63 score, stating, “This Thor sequel is way funnier than any movie subtitled The Dark World has a right to be (thanks, Hiddleston). And the blowout climax pitting Thor against Malekith and the elves is excitingly staged. It’s just that waiting for the good stuff can be a real mood-killer.”

Richard Roeper at the Chicago Sun-Times,gave it another 63 score, stating, “At times Thor: The Dark World does fire on all cylinders, with fine work from the returning cast, a handful of hilarious sight gags and some cool action sequences. But it’s also more than a little bit silly and quite ponderous and overly reliant on special effects that are more confusing than exhilarating.”

Ty Burr over at the Boston Globe, gave it a 50 score, stating, “Has its moments of visual invention and self-aware humor — mostly when the hero’s trickster brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is around, but otherwise it’s an awkwardly plotted extravaganza.” Claudia Puig from USA Today, gave it another 50 score. She stated, “Leaden, non-involving and filled with mind-numbing computer-generated effects.”

New Insidious 3 Movie Looking Pretty Bleak At The Moment,But The Money May Change That

New Insidious 3 movie looking pretty bleak at the moment, but the money may change that. Recently, Indiewire ,chatted it up with Insidious, Josh Lambert, star Patrick Wilson about the new Insidious 2 movie ,and more. And the possibility of an Insidious 3 movie, came up in conversation. However, Patrick made the chances seem pretty bleak, claiming there’s no where else to take his Josh character.

Here’s what Patrick told them: “Here’s the thing, I don’t know if he would. I don’t know where else you go with Josh Lambert. When you see the film, and see how it ends, it’s pretty clear without giving too much away. It took him so much to even want to do a sequel to “Insidious,” I felt like I could do a lot more with the character so he was my sort of touchstone, but I just. I don’t know where else it could go.

I don’t know what he could come up with that would make it be interesting for both of us, for me, for Josh Lambert. Like, where else do you go with that guy? He’s been through the ringer, and I think the movie sets it up well at the end, to be honest with you. And that’s great, that’s how it should end.”

Actually, I think he may be right about Josh, but that doesn’t mean they can’t branch out into other characters, especially with the way they ended it. And with it bringing in over $40 million ,already,it’s a box office winner. So, if there’s any possibility for a 3rd movie, you best believe the studio will find one with those great money numbers. We’ll just keep our fingers crossed.

New Kick Ass 3 Movie Most Likely Getting Made And Be The Last One

New Kick Ass 3 movie most likely getting made and be the last one. According to a new report from Comicbook.com, Kick-Ass co-creator, Mark Millar, recently chatted it up with SFX and answered the question of if there will be a new, Kick-Ass 3 movie coming down the pipeline. And he told them that ,yes, there will be. However, a 3rd installment would mark the end of the this franchise.

Mark stated, “Yeah absolutely. Kick-Ass 3 is going to be the last one though. I told Universal this and they asked me, ‘What does that mean?’ I said, ‘It means that this is where it all ends.’ They said, ‘Do they all die at the end?’ I said, ‘Maybe,’ because this is a realistic superhero story.

And if someone doesn’t have a bullet proof vest like Superman and doesn’t have Batman’s millions then eventually he is going turn around the wrong corner and get his head kicked in or get shot in the face laughs. So Kick-Ass needs to reflect that. There has to be something dramatic at the end, he cannot do this for the rest of his life.”
